This company were the highest end of furniture makers of the 19th and 20th centuries. The cuts of wood were the finest and it is completely solid oak. It has a flawless finish that has been sodablasted to raw wood and refinished in a lovely warm, light oak. A very heavy piece that exudes quality. A piece to last a lifetime and many more. the handles are all solid brass and the locks to the cupboards work as they should. It comes with a beautiful ornate key.
